Book like design for a sanding block that unfolds to slot the sand paper in then closes to hold the sandpaper tight. The idea here is to try and be as efficient as possible with a single sheet sand paper (9”x11”) reducing waste. Several different sizes of sanding blocks are included as STL files for easy printing.
Printing settings: Default 3D printing settings with PLA+ filament were used to print the sanding blocks on a Bambu Lab X1 carbon. Small tree supports would be helpful in the printing process but otherwise minimal supports are needed. All sanding blocks were setup to be printable “in place”. Max print bed size of at least 230mm square is recommended.
