This is a design for a 3D printable leveling foot for use on our 3D printer stands and other furniture. If you have purchased our 3D printer stand file you should have a free copy of this aleady in the accessories folder (no need to purchase again). We are posting this design seperatly for the people who would like the leveling feet but do not need the full 3D printer stand files.
This design require a physcial metal bolt and a metal threaded insert (sold seperatly).
Below are links to the hardware we used but you can substitute with similar hardware if the size and specs are the same.
Bolt Hex Cap 3/8-16 x 2 Grade 8 Coarse
Threaded Inserts 3/8"-16 x 25mm
We printed these using standard PLA on our bambulab printers. This design comes in two pieces. The main foot part and a small hexagonals cap that is glued to the bottom hole after the bolt is inserted. This cap will help to keep the bolt in place and prevent the bolt from scratching floors or other surfaces.
