These are digital files for our modular sanding block design
To buy the physical 3D printed product click here.
We created this design because we needed a simple sanding block for finishing flatt surfaces and 90deg corners. It was also our goal to try and use a sheet of sandpaper efficently reducing as much waste as possible. This is a 3D printable design using standard PLA filament.
If you would like to support us please use this affiliate link for purchasing Bambulab products. We recieve a small commision if you use this link (click here).
Note* using other filament types could alter the tollerances when printing causing the hinges and hinge pins to be either too lose or too tight. You may need to alter those pieces to the sanding blocks work properly.
What is included:
Four different sizes of sanding blocks:
Sanding block that is a quarter the size of a sheet of standard sandpaper (9” x 11”)
Sanding block that is half the size of a sheet of standard sandpaper (9” x 11”)
Sanding block for sand paper sheets used on hand held sanders (3 2/3” x 9”)
Sanding block for sand paper rolls (4.5” x ∞)
STL files for all sanding blocks and parts (.stl)
STEP files for all sanding blocks and parts (.step)
Bambulab Studio project files for each sanding block size (.3mf)
